Bringing balance into your practice and your life.
A workshop on the 3 Gunas exploring the Laws of Nature.
February 20 & 21 Harmony Health, Stony Plain
This workshop is dedicated to finding the SATTVIC quality that exists
within all of us. The 3 Gunas encompass all of existence. Once we
find the Sattvic quality of our being we experience harmony, light,
happiness and a more balanced state of life. During this workshop
Rameen will discuss the essential role that these 3 Gunas play and
how they impact our life, our thoughts and our actions.
Each Day will start with a yoga practice to create opening and
balance within the body. For details see daily descriptions below.
After the body is open and comfortable Rameen will teach
pranayama. Pranayama is the 4th limb of Ashtanga Yoga. In the
Sutras, the practice of pranayama and asana are considered to be
the highest form of purification and self discipline for the mind
and body respectively.
After practice, Rameen will discuss the 3 Gunas, or Laws of Nature.
Discussions will be followed with meditation. When the mind has
become purified by yoga practice it becomes able to focus efficiently
on one subject or point of experience. Through the practice of
meditation we can unleash the great potential for inner healing
and well being.
